OceanJet has announced a temporary adjustment to its fuel surcharges across several key maritime routes, effective March 23, 2026. This decision follows a previous advisory issued on March 15, 2026, and is attributed to the persistent rise in fuel costs impacting daily operations.

The ferry operator stated that these adjustments are part of ongoing fuel contingency measures aimed at maintaining service reliability. Management emphasized that the surcharge remains temporary and will be lifted as soon as fuel prices stabilize.

Updated fare schedule

Travelers are advised to note the following fare updates starting March 23, 2026:

  • Cebu – Tagbilaran v.v.: Tourist / Open Air at PHP 960; Business Class at PHP 1,400
  • Tagbilaran – Siquijor v.v.: Tourist / Open Air at PHP 960; Business Class at PHP 1,400
  • Tagbilaran – Dumaguete v.v.: Tourist / Open Air at PHP 1,080; Business Class at PHP 1,680
  • Dumaguete – Siquijor v.v.: Tourist / Open Air at PHP 420; Business Class at PHP 700
  • Iloilo – Bacolod v.v.: Tourist / Open Air at PHP 650; Business Class at PHP 900
