Weesam Express launches new daily schedule for Zamboanga–Isabela route

Weesam Express has finally implemented its new daily sailing schedule for the Zamboanga to Isabela and Isabela to Zamboanga route. The new sailing schedule was implemented on February 2, 2026, and aims to give passengers more options on when to travel.
According to the shipping company, the new sailing schedule is intended to give passengers more flexibility in traveling from Zamboanga City to Isabela City, Basilan, or vice versa. With the new sailing schedule, passengers can now plan their trips according to their preferred time.
The following trips operate daily in both directions:
Zamboanga to Isabela
- 6:00 AM
- 8:00 AM
- 10:00 AM
- 12:30 PM
- 2:30 PM
- 4:30 PM
Isabela to Zamboanga
- 6:00 AM
- 8:00 AM
- 10:00 AM
- 12:30 PM
- 2:30 PM
- 4:30 PM
The regular departures throughout the day are also intended to alleviate traffic and provide more options for passengers, especially during peak hours.
Weesam Express also encourages passengers to book their tickets in advance to avoid long lines at the port. The company mentioned the advantages of online booking, which include guaranteed seating and easier boarding.
Passengers who book their tickets in advance do not need to wait in line and will not have to deal with scalpers of tickets. Booking in advance also allows passengers to choose their preferred departure times, especially during peak days.

With the new daily schedule now operational, Weesam Express is looking forward to an improved passenger flow between Zamboanga and Isabela. Passengers are still advised to arrive at the port early before departure to accommodate check-in and security procedures.
