Maritime travel across several ports in the Bicol region has been suspended as of 6:00 PM on August 2, 2026, following the onslaught of Tropical Depression Luis. The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) issued the advisory to ensure the safety of passengers and vessel crews amid deteriorating sea conditions.

According to the PPA, the cancellation of trips is an automatic response whenever the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) issues a “no sail” policy. Shipping lines may also voluntarily cancel operations to comply with the terms of their Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) issued by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).

List of Cancelled Trips

The following routes and vessels are currently affected by the suspension of operations:

Travelers are advised to coordinate directly with their respective shipping lines for rebooking or refund concerns. The Philippine Ports Authority continues to monitor the situation across all Port Management Offices (PMO) in Bicol and will provide updates as soon as weather conditions improve and the PCG clears the resumption of maritime travel.
