Montenegro Shipping Lines resumes Batangas to Calapan and Abra de Ilog routes

Montenegro Shipping Lines, Inc. (MSLI) has officially announced the resumption of its ferry operations for key maritime routes in the MIMAROPA region, restoring vital links between mainland Luzon and the island of Mindoro.
In a recent travel advisory, the shipping operator confirmed that vessels are once again plying the following routes:
- Batangas City – Calapan City and vice versa
- Batangas City – Abra de Ilog and vice versa
Limited Operational Schedule
While the resumption of service is a welcome development for travelers and cargo logistics, MSLI noted that trips are currently operating on a limited schedule. Full-scale frequency has yet to be fully restored as the company monitors demand and operational conditions.
Passengers are strongly advised to check the latest departure times with the shipping line’s port representatives or ticketing offices before heading to the terminal. This measure is intended to ensure a smoother travel experience and avoid unnecessary delays at the Batangas Port, Calapan Port, and Abra de Ilog Port.
