Island Water has officially announced the implementation of the second round of fare adjustments and updated booking policies for the Batangas to Abra de Ilog route, effective April 14, 2026. The shipping operator cited the continuous rise in fuel costs as the primary reason for the price update, assuring the public that the new rates remain within the 40% cap authorized by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).
